In a brief break from all the rain one Sunday last month, I managed to grab these new images of the Syon Lane site (click on an image above for a larger version) – the weather may have been annoying for us less than waterproof humans, but all the plants seem to love the rain, exploding into fast-growing, vivid green life in the space of a few days.
It’s a good job everything’s growing at such a rapid rate because next weekend the Community Allotment will be setting up a stall to sell plants and seeds in order to raise funds for and awareness of the project at the local Isleworth Spring Fayre. The Fayre is on Sunday 6th May from 12-4pm at the Old Isleworthians’ Memorial Ground on Wood Lane, Isleworth (see here for more details) – so if you’re in the area, come along and say hello!
You can find out more about the Isleworth Spring Fayre at their website.
And you can find more of my photographs from Syon Lane here.
Happy May Day!
