More than three hundred posts.
Over six hundred comments.
Almost fifty-three thousand views.
And you, the reader…
Yes, today is Another Kind Of Mind’s fourth birthday. I can’t quite believe that, but it’s true. I never imagined this blog would make it to four years, let alone be as (comparatively) successful as it has been.
Thank you, all of you. Thank you for reading, for commenting, for liking, for sharing, for all your support. For making this slightly eccentric and opinionated personal blog what it is today – and for continuing to inspire me and make me smile every time I log on to WordPress.
And a very happy birthday to Another Kind Of Mind!
As it’s Another Kind Of Mind’s second birthday on WordPress next month (blimey, how did that happen? Only seems like five minutes ago…), I’ve been having a bit of a revamp and a general tidy-up about the place.
I’m adding some new features (you may have noticed the slideshows recently!) and have finally got round to updating the static pages. I’ve also added some excellent new sites to my blogroll, which you can find at the very bottom left of the page. All the links listed are well worth checking out. Incidentally, if you think your site should be on there and isn’t, please let me know.
If you want to get in touch, have a look at the Feedback page for more details. You can always ‘like’ the Another Kind Of Mind Facebook page, follow me on Twitter, check out some more of my photography on Flickr or follow me on Tumblr for more random odds and ends while you’re waiting for the next ‘proper’ post here…!
Get the beers in readers, Another Kind Of Mind turned one on Saturday!
I can’t believe a year has gone by since I moved my blog to WordPress; those twelve months have gone so quickly, it’s been a blast.
A huge thanks to all of you who have read, commented on, shared and rated my posts so far. I absolutely love hearing from all of you and I really appreciate you taking time to let me know what you think – your comments and suggestions are wonderfully thought-provoking and often inspire new posts, which makes it all worth while for me. I have the best readers…
Please keep it up, you guys rock!
Here’s a few of the treats I’ve got in store for you in the coming weeks…
– Find out what I think about what you think about bad movies (it’s coming, I promise!)
– Discover some more amazing facts about the River Thames
– Read my review of last week’s Hip-Hop History event in Ladbroke Grove, West London
– Learn why I think history is so important (and why Baldrick (almost) got it right…)
– Get sentimental about the magic of mix tapes (and let me know what tracks you would put on yours!)
And probably lots of other bits and pieces too, including some more fascinating photos (hopefully).
Right. That’s that done. Where’s the party then?
